Having restored more than 25 American, British, German, Italian and Japanese vintage cars, Swadi skillfully worked out a way where these cars could be reconstructed to a healthier version and proved that nothing is impossible when you are driving on the road of your passion.
From preventive maintenance to diagnosis to general repairs to body and paint jobs and many more, Swadi looks into meticulous areas and delivers results that exceed customer expectations. repairs is what Swadi is highly specialised in. Every vehicle undergoes a certain lifespan, but it also depends on how effective is the preventive and repair treatment that is given to the vehicle. About Anand Swadi (Founder)

Anand Swadi, the man of principles and the mind behind the foundation of Swadi Automobiles, has set an exemplary record with his sound number of achievements and experience in the automobile industry. From starting off with accomplishing laurels in the road rallies and track races organised by the Motor Sport Clubs of various states to becoming a founder member of Maharashtra Automotive Sports Association” (MASA) and later the president, to launching Swadi Automobiles which has been in existence since xyz years, Anand Swadi’s professional journey makes a great inspiration of success and meritorious work.

Trainee Mechanic in Ford Motor Car Co. of India Ltd. 1 month.

1941 - 1940

Repairs & Sale of 2nd World War Disposal Trucks

1944

Trainee Mechanic in T.V.S. Leading Dealers and Repairers of American Motor Cars manufactured by General Motors of USA.

1948 - 1945

Resident Representative for Leading Dealers for American & British cars and Trucks In Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh & Delhi.

1950 - 1949

In Melbourne, Australia for training in repairs and servicing of Tractors, Agricultural Implements and Road Building Machinery.

1953 - 1951

Worked as Manager in charge, of 2nd hand motor cars of all foreign makes.

1959 - 1953

Worked as Director of an authorized Dealer for Plymouth Motor Cars And New and Used Motor Cars with total charge of sale and repairs.

1970 - 1959

Ran the workshop of Kandawala Auto Repairs as sole manager handling repairs of all makes of Motor Cars

1971 - date

Working Partner, in Swadi Automobiles. Handed over control of day to day operations to highly trained Staff. Now only work as Advisor full time.

2007 - 1971

My late wife Kamalini Swadi started and ran Auto Hirers. Which runs a Tourist Car business.

2007 onwards

My son, Dilip Swadi has solely controlled and expanded The business to included Bulk Cement Transport by Trucks With offices in many parts of India. We also have a long standing association with suppliers in Australia, Germany, Italy, United Kingdom and USA. They will supply our requirements promptly & at affordable prices.
